It’s asparagus season and prices on asparagus are low!  Here’s a delicious, restaurant style dish that takes less than ten minutes of prep!

Ingredients:

1 lbs fresh asparagus

2 TBSP balsamic reduction or apple cider vinegar reduction

1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup water

Shallow dish for microwaving or pan for steaming

 

Procedure:

1- Wash asparagus, snap off or cut off woody ends

2 – You may leave asparagus whole or chop into bite sized pieces (as pictured)

3 – Place asparagus and water in shallow dish and microwave for 3-5 minutes, or until asparagus reaches desired tend
